What do we need to bring ? Bring a towel, sunscreen, a bottle of water. Most important bring a smile. No shoes, no shirt, no problem.
What should we wear ? Wear something you do not mind getting wet, we suggest bathing suits, shorts. Bring some dry clothes, for after. You might want the optional dip in the water. Also bring a sweatshirt, sometimes it can be a bit cooler on the water.
Do I need any experience ? No, we provide all the gear and proper safety instructions, you will be wearing a life jacket. So if you can't swim, that's ok. All you have to do is sit back and relax, we will take care of the rest.
What are the age limits and weight restrictions ? Minimum age to parasail is 6 years old. Weight requirements will be determined at the time of your flight, depending on the wind and sea conditions. Most of our flights go up 2 at a time, sometimes we can do 3, rarely will we fly one person. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have a parent or guardian, sign the waiver form for you. We can not allow any pregnant women on the boat. We can fly up to about 450lbs.
How long is the tour ? They run from 1hr to 1-1/2hrs, depending on how many people on the boat.
Parking ? Allow plenty of time for traffic and parking. We suggest parking behind, the Discover Newport Center. On your right as you come into Newport on Americas cup ave. We are a 5 minute walk from there. You can also park at Newport Harbor Hotel, if they have space. They are right next to us.
Stores, restrooms ? Yes, right at our dock, there are rest rooms. The ships store, is right there. They sell cold drinks, sun screen, shirts, sweatshirts, and a lot more.
Sunglasses ? If you want to wear sunglasses, in the parasail, we recommend a safety strap of some kind. Do not take up anything you do not want to lose or get wet.
Observers, we only take observers if accompanied by parasailers. Space permitting.
Safety, The crew is required to assist all passengers, while boarding the vessel. This means that you will hold the hand rail with one hand, and the crew will hold your other hand. If for any reason you can not, or will not allow the crew member to assist you, we will not be able to bring you onboard the vessel. We respect all beliefs. Please respect our safety regulations.
